I experimented this year and ventured to Newton for Christmas. The Baker family treated me like one of their own, making me wash dishes, tend kids, and even clean up after myself. I had a reasonably spectacular time highlighted by all of the great activities that were carried out. Below are a few of the many highlights documented in pictures. See caption below each picture for a brief description of the activity.
A Christmas miracle, new PJ pants. As you can see, I am marginally thrilled.
It is another Christmas miracle, the three kings found the babe. We brought some handsome gifts after traveling far (fruitcake, thin mints, preserves)!Yet again a Christmas miracle, we all made it into the picture wearing our spiffy new PJ's on the night before Christmas. I am the one with the eye wear on my eyes.
Shocking to be sure, but this is also a Christmas miracle. Here I am holding Andi. The miracle is that I was still able to smile.
The final Christmas miracle, being the guest I partook of the largest potato of the Christmas day feast. I ate it all! Notice my large mouth...almost as large as my appetite...I was amazed at the amount of treats and food the Baker family consumed throughout my stay in Newton.
As you may know, Boxing Day is a holiday in many parts of the world, including Newton. The first ever annual Boxing Day Wii Boxing tournament was held. I was matched up against some stiff competition but I was able to make it to the finals.
I must admit, I have good form. I floated like a butterfly and stung like a bee but did not last through the final match. I was knocked out. However, I am eagerly anticipating the next Wii competition where I can come out on top. I know that it will take hard work and determination but I am willing to meet the challenge head on!
At the close of this blog post, I would like to thank the fabulous Baker's for their personality and their very creamy potatoes. We had a jolly holiday.

Baseball Season
Baseball season is under way. I am lucky because
I get to go to a few games each week.
Scottie and Kelton are great baseball players.
I volunteered Martha and Adma to put up an
outdoor movie theater for the 4th of July
so we can watch Sandlot and Field of Dreams.
For reservations please call Adri.
Have a wonderful summer!

Crazy Cat Caroline
In honor of Shauna's request, we now present the spring edition of "Crazy Cat Caroline" entitled, "Deb Wantabe." If you don't know what we are referring to, ask Adam Phil Baker, because he knows (we hope). Because of the popular first edition, "Lady Liberty," we will be publishing that rendition soon. If you would like a copy of either the "Lady Liberty" or "Deb Wantabe", you can even purchase them with a beautiful lace overlay frame made by Brenda. They might look real nice on your mantel. Adam might be willing to sell you his copy. Bids start at $50. 00. Proceeds go to "The Get Caroline a Car Foundation". Pictures are copyrighted. Thank You!
